A chimney fire broke out at a Pierceton home Wednesday Morning. Pierceton Fire Department responded at 8:01 a.m. to 4544 E. Old 30. Gordon Baker, fire chief, said that the fire was confined in the chimney. Pierceton was assisted by Warsaw Fire Department and Lutheran EMS. A damage estimate was not available as of this morning. The home is owned by Doug and Sharon Slusher, according to county information.
