WARSAW — Medtronic will be staying in Warsaw for the “foreseeable future” after all.

In October 2021, Medtronic announced it was transitioning manufacturing from the Warsaw facility to other locations and was expected to close its Warsaw facility by 2024.

In fact, the orthopedic company had already worked out a plan to have the Michigan-based Autocam Medical move into its property along US 30.

But in a statement to the Times-Union, Medtronic said that “after careful analysis and consideration we are working with our partner (Autocam Medical) to remain at our Warsaw facility for the foreseeable future.”
