Two-year-old drowning victim identified

WARSAW — The name of the Warsaw drowning victim who died over the holiday weekend was released Tuesday in a statement from the Kosciusko County Coroner’s office.

Two-year-old Hudson Baldridge died after falling into a channel along North Gilliam Drive in Warsaw.

Hudson was one of two children who fell into the channel. The other youth was initially hospitalized in critical condition and has not been identified.

Coroner Tyler Huffer said the preliminary cause of death is drowning and that no foul play is suspected.

A GoFundMe page created to assist the family has collected more than $20,000,
