Times Union – Kosciusko County Farmer’s Market is gearing up for the 2016 summer market season.
Kosciusko Community Hospital is the premier 2016 sponsor. Organizers are offering a special deal this year for first-time vendors. To learn about the special new vendor deal, contact Kegan Burns at 574-253-1102 or Lee Ann Jaeger at esmecraft@yahoo.com.
They also are looking for musical entertainers for the 2016 summer season. This would be Saturday mornings and would be a paid position, plus tips. Contact organizers on their Facebook page if interested.
The first summer market will be May 7. The market runs every Saturday morning until Oct. 29.
The market is located on Center Street between Buffalo and Lake streets, on the south side of courthouse square. Vendors from Kosciusko and the surrounding counties of Whitley, Wabash, Fulton, Marshall, Noble and Elkhart are invited to participate.
For more than 40 years, Kosciusko County Farmer’s Market LLC has provided locally grown fruits and vegetables, baked goods, food products and locally produced craft items for the community.
