The American Academy of Pediatrics is calling for tighter regulation of e-cigarettes. In the journal Pediatrics, the A-A-P calls for a couple of steps Indiana has already taken, making e-cigarettes off limits to minors and requiring that e-liquid cartridges be tamper-proof. But Cravinvapes C-E-O Shawn Anderson, who owns shops in Fort Wayne, Auburn and Goshen, says there's no compelling reason to restrict a product that's not been shown to be dangerous. Brianna Herndon with the Cancer Action Network says traditional tobacco is the greater threat, but argues regulators should err on the side of caution. She says the vapor from e-cigarettes contains cancer-causing chemicals.
