A second COVID relief grant is coming to the United Way of Whitley and Kosciusko Counties.
United Way President Darren Bickel said in a press release that the organization is receiving just over $331,000 from Indiana United Ways and will be used for children’s initiatives,
focusing on healing from challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The release says that in August, United Way will begin rolling out opportunities for local organizations to be a part of children’s initiatives that will A) reduce the long-term traumatic effects of this crisis, B) rebuild children’s relational skills and C) address factors that will help children experience greater success in school.
If you would like more information on how to get involved or see how your organization might be able to take advantage of some of the funds, contact the United Way of Whitley and Kosciusko Counties.
