Some additional handicap and fifteen minute parking spots could be coming to an area of downtown Warsaw in the future.
At Wednesday’s Traffic Safety Commission meeting, KeyBank Manager Yolanda Hedington made a request to add the two parking spots at the corner of East Center and Indiana Streets. Commission member Cindy Dobbins said the 15-minute parking would not be beneficial just to KeyBank, but to other downtown businesses where customers have to make a quick stop.
Commission member David Albritten suggested that the handicap spot go on Indiana, while the 15 minute spots be put on Center Street. The commission unanimously passed the request, which now goes to the city council for full approval.
