The Indiana Toll Road is planning to open 20 miles of the highway this Memorial Day weekend.
A press release from ITRCC Chief Executive Office Nic Barr says they’ve worked hard to make this happen.
“As we prepare to commemorate Memorial Day and welcome the start of summer travel season, we’ve worked hard to reopen these 20 miles of roadway and two interchanges for our customers.”
Over the past two-and-a-half months, the Toll Road says it has repaved 75 lane-miles of road and reconstructed six interchanges, according to WNDU.
The ITRCC press release says repairs are part of the 80/90 PUSH construction project. The project aims to reconstruct a total of 73-miles and improve multiple overpasses.
The 80/90 PUSH construction project is forecast to be completed by the end of this summer.
