The 122nd Fighter Wing out of Fort Wayne will be conducting more Air Force salutes over several northern Indiana communities today, including Warsaw.
The flyover will start in Lafayette around 5:36 PM and will go over Gary, Michigan City, South Bend and Plymouth before going overhead downtown Warsaw, scheduled to be around 6:12 PM. It will then fly over downtown Columbia City just a few minutes later around 6:17 PM before heading back to Fort Wayne.
The flyover will be similar to the one that went over hospitals and cities such as Terre Haute, Indianapolis, Muncie and Marion this past weekend.
Officials say it demonstrates the Air National Guard’s continued readiness while saluting the American heroes at the forefront in our fight against COVID-19.
