An Akron teen was injured following a single vehicle crash along State Road 14 at Packerton Road on Saturday evening.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office says 16-year old Brendyn Ryan Stump was eastbound along SR 14 around 6:46 PM, when his vehicle left the south edge of the roadway, turned sideways then struck a utility pole in a ditch.
Stump had to be extricated from the vehicle was was flown to a Fort Wayne hospital in critical condition. The crash remains under investigation.
