A Noble County man was arrested following a six month long rape investigation at ended on Sunday morning in St. Joseph County.
Indiana State Police say troopers arrested 25-year old Mathew Clark of Albion after police received information regarding an allegation that Clark raped a Whitley County teenager back in June at the Deniston camping area in Larwill. After police obtained a warrant, they went to Clarkâs home in Albion in March, but learned that he had fled the area.
A deeper look into the investigation found that Clark had gone to a residence in Mishawaka, where he was taken into custody without incident on Sunday. He is charged with felony rape and is being held on a $100,000 bond.
