Dangerous road conditions affected many Kosciusko County residents on Monday.
A Lutheran EMS Ambulance was even involved in a crash. It happened shortly after 6:45 p.m. on State Road 15 north of Leesburg.
The ambulance was initially responding to another crash when it stopped with emergency lights activated.
It was then struck in the rear by a northbound minivan. The driver of that vehicle had reportedly lost control on the ice-covered roadway.
One crew member of the ambulance was transported to the Kosciusko Community Hospital for precautionary measures.
Sheriff Kyle Dukes urges motorists to exercise extreme caution during deteriorating roadway conditions.
