Animal Welfare League pays off mortgage with gift

WARSAW — The Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County announced it received a gift allowing the non-profit organization to pay off its remaining mortgage.

AWL announced the update in a short statement issued this week.

The organization “was fortunate to receive financial gift allowing the nonprofit to pay off the remaining mortgage for their campus. We are so blessed that this kind person left us financial support to settle this debt.”

AWL also acknowledged and expressed its heartfelt appreciation
to its lender, 1st Source Bank.

“We wish to extend our sincere thanks for believing in AWL and for the trust and confidence you have placed in us. Your decision to support us has had a profound impact on our organization and we are proud to have upheld our commitment by never missing a
mortgage payment,” the statement said.
