The annual donation event to help out Combined Community Services’ food pantry is coming this weekend.
Food-a-thon will take place at the downtown Warsaw radio studios this coming Friday and Saturday, accepting non-perishable food items to help CCS get stocked up for the upcoming holiday and winter seasons.
CCS Executive Director Randy Polston says the need has been great this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, as there has been a constant need to keep the pantry stocked. With the holiday’s right around the corner, a need for Thanksgiving items is one that will be a hot commodity.
That’s CCS’ Director of Emergency Assistance Tim Frame. Food-a-thon will go from 6 AM to 6 PM on Friday and 9 AM to 2 PM on Saturday.
