The U.S. House of Representatives has passed a bill named after a slain Michiana doctor.
The Dr. Todd Graham Pain Management, Treatment and Recovery Act passed unanimously this week.
The bill is designed to improve access to non-opioid pain management treatments.
The bill, which was introduced and sponsored by Congresswoman Jackie Walorski, now heads to the Senate.
The bill was named after the doctor who was shot and killed in Mishawaka after refusing to prescribe opioid for a patient last summer.
