Area school districts now know what they can expect in their second round of COVID relief funds from the state.
The Indiana Department of Education released the full list of both public and private schools to receive CARES Act 2.0 funding, in which the state is giving out over $881 million in total.
Locally, here is what funding looks like for schools:
- Warsaw Community Schools: $2,768,226.56
- Wawasee Community School Corporation: $1,249,171.40
- Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation: $1,071,809.59
- Wa-Nee Community Schools: $1,038,809.89
- Whitko Community School District: $940,639.71
- Manchester Community Schools: $721,172.70
- Triton School Corporation: $334,525.25
- Lakeland Christian Academy: $233,950.00
