An investigation is underway into a 20-year-old substitute teacher in the John Glenn school district who is accused of having sex with a student. WNDU reports that Austin Kipp is being charged with sexual misconduct with a minor. Principal Mark Maudling says Kipp was a substitute for one day last month at Urey Middle School in Walkerton. The victim told detectives last week he took her to his house in North Liberty where they smoked a ‘vape’ and had sex. Kipp was charged with sexual misconduct with a minor and entered a preliminary plea of ‘not guilty’ Monday. His initial hearing is set for January 9th.
