If you receive an e-mail telling you to click to pay a missed toll on the toll road or pay for an EZ pass, it's likely a scam. That warning, from the Better Business Bureau which says the latest round of e-mail scams also include fake messages that claim you need to appear in court. BBB officials say to NOT click on the links or attachments, and simply delete the emails. The BBB is also warning about a new scam where the con-artists are posing as prepaid debit card staff members to get you to give up personal information and money. The scammers hope to hook people who use prepaid debit cards and have lost money in the past by claiming they can help them get the cash back.
