The Beaman home has announced that with the community's support, they are only 13% away from hitting their goal of being able to build a new emergency shelter and outreach center for domestic violence victims and their children. The Beaman Home is within $240,000 of their $1.8 million goal. According to the release, over 200 victims each year seek refuge at the Beaman Home shelter.
