Police in Berrien County are investigating an apparent murder-suicide. Officers arrived around 6:30 am, Monday, to the scene where they say a man shot his wife, then shot himself at a nearby home. Police found the woman's body in the 400 block of W. John Beers Road. It's believed she was also run over by a vehicle. The couple is identified as 57 year-old David Tripp and 42-year-old Delaina Tripp. Police say David called 9-1-1 and confessed to shooting his wife before turning the gun on himself. Michigan State Police are taking over the investigation. They ask that anyone who may have driven in the area around 6:00 am to call 269-683-4411.
