The city of Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department will present the free Blues and Barbecue Concert featuring Duke Tumatoe and The Power Trio Friday at Glover Pavilion in Central Park.
The evening will start at 6 p.m. with, “The Hardest Working Blues Band,” Elwood Splinters Blues Band. Then at 8 p.m. is blues musician and showman Duke Tumatoe & The Power Trio, who fuses gritty R & B, rock, blues and fun injected with equal parts humor and gut-level sincerity, according to the announcement from the parks department.
A variety of barbecue and food vendors will be on site to satisfy your barbecue taste buds. Come early and bring your lawn chair or favorite blanket and enjoy the evening’s weather for an outdoor concert.
Remember that coolers are allowed, but no alcohol in the park at any time. There will also be a drawing for door prizes in between the two bands. People must be present to win.
