The body of a deceased man was found on Loon Lake Tuesday morning.
According to information from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, KCSO detectives located the body of the deceased man face down in shallow water along the north side of Loon Lake in southern Kosciusko County.
The body was taken by the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office to the Northeast Indiana Forensic Center in Fort Wayne for an autopsy. No evidence of significant injury was noted during the autopsy.
The cause and manner of death is pending further investigation and toxicology results.
Fingerprints from the body were used to identify the man as 34-year-old Dustin Cloud of Claypool.
Cloud had been reported missing to the KCSO by his family on March 16, 2022.
The KCSO and Warsaw Police Department SCUBA teams assisted at the scene.
There will be no additional information released at this time.
