The body found partially charred in some woods on Friday is that of a 15 year-old girl. Desirae Ann Kathryn Jones of Bremen died, primarily due to blunt force trauma. Authorities say the wooded area in which she was found, Friday, on Fifth Road between Hawthorn and Grape, is known as “Little Egypt” and is a hangout for teenagers to meet, drink and smoke. About 200 people attended a candlelight vigil in Desirae's honor at The Bremen Church of God last night. She was a freshman at Bremen High School. Police are still investigating her death.
