The Bowen Center will have a new Chief Executive Officer come July 2022.
Current CEO Kurt Carlson introduced Dr. Robert Ryan at Tuesday’s county commissioner’s meeting. Ryan, who currently serves at the Bowen Center’s vice president of operations, will take over the helm in just over 20 months.
Carlson said he isn’t retiring, “I will just step aside and be at (Ryan’s) beck and call whenever he needs something.:
Carlson also gave an update to the COVID testing site, saying they are ready to go, but are waiting on the state to send in PPE and other materials. That site will become a free state testing site once it opens, and will be open through next summer.
