People driving in Indianapolis saw money blowing all over the interstate Wednesday morning.
Indiana State Police are investigating to determine just how much money fell out of a Brinks armored truck on I-70 around 9 a.m.
Some of the money bags remained intact, but others broke open, meaning thousands of dollars in cash blew across the east and westbound lanes of traffic.
Some motorists stopped in the middle of the interstate to gather and pocket the bills, as well as the unbroken money bags.
Authorities say anyone who stopped to pick up the wind-blown money should contact state police to return it if they want to avoid felony theft charges.
