Burger King on Frontage Road in Warsaw re-opened less than a day after a fire damaged part of the kitchen.

The Times-Union reported a fire broke out on Tuesday afternoon in the broiler area and spread to the attic, forcing the restaurant to close.

The fire was reported at 3:11 p.m. Tuesday.

But as of 2 p.m., on Wednesday, the drive-thru was open and somewhat busy, but the dining room was closed.

Customers ordering in the drive-thru were told that items on the menu containing beef were not available because the broiler was not functioning.

A store manager declined comment from a reporter who was purchasing food through the drive-thru, saying they were too busy to talk.

As of Tuesday, Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory was unsure of the cause of the fire.

No injuries were reported.
