With an eye toward an eventual run for a national office, South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg is already receiving not just attention from across the country but donations, as well.
Thousands of dollars from donors have been coming in to his Hitting Home Political Action Committee, according to The South Bend Tribune.
That suggests that some of the message he had to offer during last year’s unsuccessful run to be the DNC Chair resonated with some Democrats.
Donations to his PAC have people speculating about a future run for the presidency, though most donors don’t view him as a candidate for the nation’s top office in 2020, The South Bend Tribune reported.
Buttigieg says his PAC is dedicated to helping fellow Democrats run in the nation’s heartland this fall.
