Warsaw — Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts is thrilled to invite the community to Great Performances, Greater Purpose: A Year-End Match Challenge Fundraising Cabaret at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12.
This special event celebrates the artistic excellence and community spirit that define Wagon Wheel as a cultural cornerstone of Warsaw and Northern Indiana.
This one-night-only event is part of Wagon Wheel’s 2024 Year-End Giving Match Challenge, with every dollar donated during the evening matched up to $75,000 by two generous supporters.
The cabaret not only showcases outstanding artistic talent but also calls for community support to sustain and grow Wagon Wheel’s impact.
Under the direction of Kira Lace Hawkins and Sam Engle, the evening’s performances will feature contributions from all Wagon Wheel divisions, including the Wagon Wheel Professional Theatre, Wagon Wheel Junior, Wagon Wheel Community Theatre, Wagon Wheel Conservatory, and the Symphony of the Lakes.
Patrons will also view video testimonials from Wagon Wheel alumni, many of whom have performed on Broadway, reflecting on the transformative influence of their experiences at the Wagon Wheel.
“The impact Wagon Wheel has locally and nationally will be front and center as we showcase testimonials from over 20 Broadway performers who were on our stage not long ago, as well as local participants in our programs who benefit from the community-serving work we do year-round,” said Hawkins.
“We are so hopeful to reach the full match of $75,000 to help us continue to enrich Kosciusko County through the arts and broaden our impact year after year,” said Hawkins.
Tickets are available now at wagonwheelcenter.org or by calling the box office at (574) 267-8041. All proceeds will directly support Wagon Wheel’s mission. For more information or to make a donation, visit wagonwheelcenter.org/donate/.
