A few weeks ago, Cardinal Services put out word that they were looking for members of the community to become elves.
In so doing, the Elf agreed to buy a gift for a person with a disability who is served by the non-profit. The goal was to match elves to 168 adults served in Kosciusko County.
People reached out quickly, offering to be a Cardinal Elf. Some are co-workers from local businesses, others are families, churches, clubs, and individuals. In all, 78 people and/or groups became elves this year – a new record for the Elf program.
On Wednesday evening, a handful of elves boarded a KABS bus and delivered many of the gifts to Cardinal’s group homes and community apartments around Warsaw.
