A child that was pulled from a pond near Nappanee on Saturday has passed away.
The child was taken to Memorial Hospital in South Bend after he was pulled from the pond near County Road 1000 West around 1:30 PM on Saturday.
Indiana Conservation Officers did not release the name or age of the boy. An autopsy is still pending and the incident remains under investigation.
