Christopher Hurd, 55, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023 at his home.
Christopher was born on November 18, 1967 in Toledo, Ohio the son of (the late) Jo Ed Hurd and Bonnie Hurd (Blair) Whitaker. He was united in marriage to Geri Schuh on September 26, 2009 in Warsaw.
He worked as a Bindery Operator for R.R. Donnelley Printing Company. Christopher was an avid golfer, enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and loved his pets. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren and playing video games. He enjoyed eating and was known to have a big appetite. His church affiliation was of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Geri Hurd of Warsaw; sons, Jared (Brittany) Hurd of Silver Lake, Mike (Kayla) Farner of Nappanee; daughters, Rebecca (Joe) Roose of Syracuse, Kaitlyn Hurd of Warsaw and Kiley (Eric) Helblig of Warsaw. In addition, he is survived by his sisters, Samantha (Terry) Bradford, Silver Lake and Velia (Ray) Grosch, Rochester; brother, Faron Hurd of Warsaw; and numerous grandchildren.
He was preceded in passing by his parents and a grandson Oliver Hurd.
The family wishes to have a celebration of life for Christopher at a later date. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, Warsaw is entrusted with arrangements for the family.
