The City of Warsaw is now accepting applications for their 50/50 Sidewalk Program. Applications are due by Friday, April 30. The first 25 received and approved applications will be guaranteed to be completed during the 2021 construction season.
The 50/50 Sidewalk Program is an opportunity for property owners to partner with the City on neighborhood improvements and contribute 50% of the concrete cost to install a new sidewalk in front of their property. In turn, the City of Warsaw will pay for the remaining 50%, as well as provide all labor and installation.
All applications will be screened prior to approval to ensure program criteria is met. Approved requests will then be fulfilled on a first come, first served basis after payment has been received. If the construction season allows for additional sidewalk requests to be completed, additional applicants will be contacted at a later time.
