This morning Claypool Elementary was made aware of a situation that occurred in town requiring increased police presence from the Indiana State Police Department throughout a region of Claypool. This perimeter included part of the Claypool Elementary parking lot as a cautionary measure.
All students entered the building as normal and the situation in town was resolved by the time school started. Although officers with Indiana State Police indicated there was no threat to Claypool Elementary, student safety and security continues to be of the utmost concern of Warsaw Community Schools and additional officers were present during the morning for parent peace of mind.
Warsaw Community Schools would like to thank local and state law enforcement for the continued support in creating a safe and secure environment for student learning.
