WARSAW — A motorcyclist died Wednesday night following a single-vehicle accident on SR 25 in southwestern Kosciusko County.
The accident happened at 5:15 p.m. on SR 25 just west of CR 600W, according to a news release from Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators determined that Charles D. Sanders, 35, Claypool, was traveling east on SR 25 and for an unknown reason left the south side side of the road and then came
to rest down an embankment on the south side.
Sanders was pronounced deceased from injuries sustained in the crash by Kosciusko County Coroner Tyler Huffer.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by
Burket Fire Department, Lutheran EMS, Parkview Samaritan, Reichert’s
& Knepp Wrecker Service, and the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office.
The crash remains under investigation by the Kosciusko County FACT
Team.
