A Columbia City man is in jail on child pornography and child exploitation charges.
Indiana State Police say they arrested 38-year old Derek Eugene Gaff on Wednesday afternoon after a tip was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. That tip led police to a search of Gaff’s residence.
Gaff faces charges of possession of child pornography under the age of 12, child pornography under the age of 18 and child exploitation, all felonies.
He was taken to the Whitley County Jail.
