A free concert in Warsaw’s Central Park raised over $2,000 for a children’s hospital.
The Jarrod Niemann show brought in many donations despite being a following act to some severe weather Friday afternoon.
Any chance for severe thunderstorms or a tornado passed by 6 p.m. on Friday, but rain was on-and-off up until the time Niemann took the stage.
Willie 103.5 staff says Niemann was eager to play his whole show in Warsaw, despite the rainy conditions.
The over $2,000 in funds raised will go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
St. Jude is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatments that are not covered by insurance. No child is denied treatment because of a family’s inability to pay.
