WARSAW — The Times-Union reports renovations to the Kosciusko County parking lot north of the justice building is set to begin next week and that the county will temporarily lease two lots where county employees can park during construction.

Construction will be done in two phases so half of the parking lot can still be used, according to County Administrator Marsha McSherry

While much of the work involves new pavement, it also includes some new sidewalks, curbs and lights.

The new lot will provide about 35 new parking spots and use property formerly used by Enterprise Car Rental, but the building associated with the business will remain and will be used by the county for storage.

The project is expected to cost about $7000,000 and will take two to three months to complete.
