One of the crashes that plagued Elkhart County roads Wednesday morning was fatal.
25-year-old Anthony Eddy died after his pickup truck crossed a center line and hit a semi going the other way. It happened just before 10 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. 6 near County Road 25 north of Milford.
The semi went off the road and hit a utility pole. The semi driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The road was closed for hours while crews investigated and cleared the scene.
