A Cromwell couple was taken into custody for alleged animal cruelty.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies say they found two kittens, two hamsters, and three dogs malnourished in July inside the home of 37-year-old Nicholas Baldwin and 39-year-old Melissa Payne.
A fourth dog inside the home had already died.
Baldwin and Payne are accused of keeping the animals without food and water for several days.
