WARSAW — Danco Medical — part of Lincotek Group — has just inaugurated its new plant in Warsaw, helping OEMs and manufacturing partners get their products to market faster than ever.
The facility — opened in an official ceremony on June 6 — is designed to add capacity in aluminum anodizing and the deep image graphics used in orthopedic delivery systems and other environments.
At around 25,000 square feet in size, the new building will sit alongside the existing
manufacturing facility in on Executive Boulevard, Warsaw — a town known as the ‘Orthopedic Capital of the World.’
The plant will feature a state-of-the-art automated line for aluminum anodizing, with larger tanks designed for high-volume output. It will also support customers in the case-and-tray market, who make use of Danco Medical’s Deep Image Graphics process.
Tim Zentz, General Manager of Danco Medical, said: “We’ve been working on this project for quite a while now, so it is wonderful to see it come to fruition in a state-of-the-art operational facility. Now, with the additional capacity, we’re in a better position than ever to support our customers and help them get to market in the quickest possible timeframe. Our lead times will continue to be the most competitive around, without any compromise over our high-quality standards.”
The opening will bring additional jobs to the local community in Warsaw, while reducing overall environmental impact by the recycling and reclaiming of wastewater back into the production process.
Craig Snow, Indiana 22nd District Representative, said: “Danco Medical’s investment in Warsaw, Indiana represents a key part of the orthopedic industry, which in Warsaw represents nearly half of the overall $60 billion orthopedic market. This region in northern Indiana is a strategic hub for Indiana’s future growth and we are excited to have Danco Medical a part of it.”
Danco Medical sold a majority stake to Lincotek Group in 2022. The Italian multinational business recognized the shared values around service, reliability and customer orientation, seeing its investment in Danco as being an important part of its future strategy.
