Kosciusko County officers are currently investigating a stabbing incident that occurred yesterday between a mother and her adult daughter. Deputies were informed of a potential stabbing Sunday afternoon at 4418 North Sullivan Road in Leesburg. A North Webster Deputy arrived at the scene and found 60 year old Ada Dill suffering from a puncture wound to the chest. Officers also located the suspect, identified as 28 year old Stephanie Nelson, who was also determined to be the victim's daughter. An initial investigation by officers determined that Nelson had reportedly been conversing with her mother in the kitchen of the residence when she suddenly banished a knife and allegedly stabbed her once in the chest. Paramedics transported Dill to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne in serious condition. The incident is still under investigation and will be forwarded to the Kosciusko Count Prosecutor’s Office for further review.
