SOUTH BEND – A former South Bend daycare employee, accused of battering a baby, is due in court Wednesday.
Marisa Jester, 22, of Goshen, is charged with battery resulting in serious bodily injury, and neglect of a dependent, according to our partners at WNDU.
Jester was caring for the infant at Rainbow Child Care Center in June when the boy came home with a broken arm.
The boy’s family filed a civil suit, seeking compensation for the child’s injuries.
Jester will have an initial hearing Wednesday.
