Ivy Tech Community College’s Warsaw campus has appointed a new president.
Allyn Decker will begin his new role at the college on Jan. 2, 2017. Decker recently served as director of the Orthopedic Regulatory and Clinical Affairs graduate program and Medical Device Quality Management program at Grace College and Seminary.
Decker worked in dual credit administration at Grace College and as chair and a faculty member of the communication department, according to Grace College.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from Grace College and master’s degrees from Ball State University and Grace Theological Seminary. He currently is pursuing a doctorate in Higher Education through Azusa Pacific University.
Decker also served as the vice president for Lake City Bank, in the past. He will succeed interim campus president Michael Slavkin.
