Although Ebola has been getting a lot of attention these days, hoosier doctors want to remind you that the flu… is far more dangerous than the Ebola virus. Indiana State Department of Health Commissioner Dr. Jerome Adams says the recent frigid weather can play a role in the spreading of the flu. He says it's not necessarily the cold tempeartues persay, but the the fact that cold weather forces many people indoors where they have a greater chance of being exposed to the flu from those who have it. Dr. Adams says, there is still time, to get a flu shot. He recommends the four-strain version of the flu vaccine.
