Kosciusko County Sheriff Kyle Dukes officially turned in his papers to run for re-election in the upcoming May primary.
Dukes spoke to the media outside of the county courthouse Tuesday afternoon, saying that looking back on the past three years, he has been able to build up their relationships with local police departments, getting NET 43 together, and going “community first,” citing the success of the JCAP program and work release. Talking about some of his goals if re-elected for another four years:
Dukes currently has one opponent in the race, current Deputy James Smith.
