The results are in, and it's a big disappointment for the Elkhart County 4-H Fair. According to WNDU, it didn't come close to setting a world record for the most food collected during a 24 hour food drive, but fair officials are keeping their spirits high. Organizers collected 47,000 pounds of food Sunday at the fair, but that falls short of the record of 560,000 pounds. That record was set with a state-wide food drive in North Carolina. Elkhart County is still hoping to set a record though for the most food collected at a county fair. They're going to be collecting at the fairgrounds for the rest of the week, so you still have a chance to donate.
