The annual Thanksgiving dinner hosted by Elks Lodge 802 is Nov. 27 at Center Lake Pavilion, and orders are now being accepted for those who are medically shut in. Turkey, ham and fixings are purchased by funding provided by the Elks. Local businesses were sent letters requesting funds to pay for the dinner. Carry-out and delivery also will be available for those who are home-bound. Elks members and volunteers will cook turkeys and hams at American Legion Post 49, and it will be transported to the Center Lake Pavilion. The menu will include turkey, ham, sweet potatoes, green beans, dressing, pies, rolls and beverages. The meals will be delivered Nov. 27 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Volunteers are needed for clean up after the meal and to serve the meal.
