Esther Irene Gibbs (Hostetler), of Warsaw, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday December 30, 2021, at the age of 67.
Born in Goshen, Indiana on November 14, 1954, Esther was the daughter of Jacob and Sylvia Hostetler. She married her husband Thomas Gibbs on January 13, 1973, in Syracuse. Esther worked at R.R. Donnelly and later stayed at home to raise her children and grandchildren.
Although a very stubborn person, Esther loved her family more than anything, especially her grandkids and great grandkids. She also loved to fish and watch Little House on the Prairie.
Those who survive to cherish her memories are her husband of 49 years, Tom; children, Lisa Gibbs and Reggie Gibbs; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Jerry Hostetler; and 9 nieces and nephews. She is further survived by many extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Thomas Gibbs; daughter, Jennifer Abbot; and sisters, Karen Sorenson and Kathy Vermillion.
A Life Celebration® is entrusted to Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St. Warsaw, IN 46580. Friends and family may gather there for visitation on Friday January 7, 2022, from 11:00 AM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Pastor Glen Crouse will be officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw.
