LEESBURG – The Kosciusko County F.A.C.T. Team is currently investigating a two-vehicle fatality crash that occurred Monday afternoon, just east of Leesburg.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department Deputies responded with Leesburg/Plain Township Fireman to the intersection of CR 700N and CR 200E at 12:34 p.m. after being notified a vehicular crash with one individual ejected.
Officers arrived and determined that one of the drivers was deceased at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle, a large, dual-axle, grain truck, was air-lifted from the scene and taken to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne in serious condition.
Names of the drivers are currently being withheld, as notification is still pending regarding family members.
