WARSAW — Fear is a Liar Ministries recently donated $3,000 to the Kosciusko County Riley Kids Fund held at the Kosciusko County Community Foundation.
The money was raised during a 5K held in memory of Payton Slaymaker
Fear is a Liar Ministries was started by Andrew and Kim Slaymaker after losing their daughter, Payton, to a rare form of brain cancer in 2021.
The ministry was created to support families who are fighting their own battles against childhood cancers.
“Our goal is to let these families know that there is hope,” said Kim Slaymaker. “By giving the money raised from Payton’s 5K to the Kosciusko County Riley Kids Fund, we hope to further support the needs of families in our communities who need help.”
